Every parent has done it once. Weeks of preparation, books, shoes, socks, provisions, everything ticked off, and then it is 11pm the night before term starts and someone is standing over a sink washing one white shirt. Uniforms never make it onto the list. This is the fix.
The part nobody writes down
The back to school list covers everything you buy and nothing you wash. Yet the uniform is the one item that has to be right on day one: clean, pressed, and ready before an early start. Put it on the list now, a week before term, not the night before.
Collars and cuffs are the whole game
School shirts fail at the collar and cuff, not the body. Grey ring marks need treating separately before the main wash, not more detergent in the drum. At our facility, collars and cuffs are treated on their own before anything else, which is the difference between a shirt that looks new and one that looks tired by week two.
The week-before routine
Seven days out: wash everything, every shirt, jumper, and PE kit, in one go. Five days out: check fit, because children grow over a summer, and replace what does not. Three days out: press and hang the first week's sets. Do this once and the first morning runs itself.
Or skip the whole thing
We collect the uniforms from your door, treat the collars and cuffs separately, wash, press, and return everything sealed and ready to hang. Standard turnaround is 48 hours, so a Tuesday pickup is back by Thursday. During term, a weekly or fortnightly pickup keeps the cycle running without anyone standing over a sink.
